Much of what has made Phil such a sought-after performer is his eclectic music selection. While his repertoire centers around classic rock and folk songs from artists like The Beatles, The Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Neil Young and Jackson Browne, he has an extensive selection of blues, 90's rock and country music that can please any crowd.
Phil’s approach to music is pretty simple. He strives to sound as natural as possible, using minimal effects and processing and absolutely no backing tracks or looping. The idea is to keep the performance completely honest and let his award-winning guitar playing and singing shine through. This approach often results in a more audience-accessible feel to the performance.
You may see Phil interacting with patrons in a bar or you may hear him playing in the background at an event. Different situations call for different performances and Phil is versatile enough to perform wherever he is needed.
